Our Story
Our lives are made up of memories – so often formed when we are surrounded by our friends and family.
Soir Studio is all about the simple, yet wonderful joy that can be found from bringing people together to share a meal.
Founded by mother-daughter duo Emma and Pippa, Soir Studio was born out a love of hosting and bringing people together.
Growing up in the Cotswolds, Pippa’s mother, and Soir Studio co-founder, Emma would take turns with her sister and mother to host delicious weekly Sunday lunches.
Aunts, uncles, grandparents and an abundance of cousins would turn up every Sunday to enjoy each other’s company; on arrival they would be handed a glass of champagne, the table would be beautifully laid and adorned with fresh flowers picked from the garden and the delicious aromas of food from the kitchen would fill the senses.
Everyone pitched in to help and the days were a joyous combination of chaotic creativity and seemingly effortless order.
More often than not, these lunches would last well into the evening, with everyone taking the time to relax, eat and drink, but most importantly, enjoy each other’s company. And there was always music and singing – from Tom Jones to Neil Diamond.
It was out of this family tradition that the concept of Soir Studio was born.
At Soir Studio, we create and curate beautiful and intimate dining events in your home so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy the company of your guests.
We see hosting as an art, a seamless dance between order, chaos and creativity – yet as is often the case with art, it takes time and energy, and with such fast-paced and busy lives, we recognise that most people don’t have the capacity to host as they would wish.
Which is where we come in
From finding a chef, to carefully curating a menu and creating beautiful tablescapes, we will manage the whole event for you – liaising with you as little or as much as you want. We will take our lead from you.
We will also provide hosts to help run the event and manage everything for you - from making sure no glass is empty, to quietly clearing the plates, while discreetly fitting in with guests to keep it feeling personal and natural.
And it doesn’t stop there, whether you need help arranging flowers, organising beautiful event stationery, or sourcing a wine advisor, we are here to offer you the exceptional.
